- Select the DP control codes menu item.
- On the initial panel, click Add.
- You access Work with DP control codes where you define the details of the DP control code. Complete the following fields:
- Control code
- Enter the identity of the DP control code.
- Description
- Enter a description of the DP control code.
- Warning at order entry
- Indicate if the demand plan forecast period value should be checked at sales order line entry. If the percentage value that is defined in Check exceeding % is exceeded, a warning will be displayed at sales order entry. For batch orders, the warning message will be displayed in the printout. Note: This field cannot be set to YES if Forecast period check is set to YES.
- Forecast period check
- Indicate if the demand plan forecast period value should be checked at sales order line entry. If the percentage value that is defined in Check exceeding % is exceeded, the order line will be moved to the next demand plan period. Note: This field cannot be set to YES if Warning at order entry is set to YES.
- Check exceeding %
- Enter a value indicating the percentage with which the demand plan period forecast can be exceeded. For example, if the demand plan period forecast is 100 and the exceeding limit is 10%, the total sales order quantity for this period may not exceed 110.
Click OK. Exit the routine.
